External users

An external user is a user that is invited as a guest on your Vault, but does not has a license provided by you

  • an external user can be a trial user or has his/her own license (or provided by another group manager)

  • if the external user is a trial user and you want to purchase a license for the user, follow steps to add a managed user.

Adding a managed user

  • managed user is a user that a Group Manager pays a license for

  • to add a managed user: click on User Management

  • first check in the Unassigned Seats tab if you still have unassigned licenses available. If so, you can assigned one of those to the new user via the manage button

  • if you don't have any unassigned seats left, you will need to purchase a new license for the managed user

  • go to the managed users tab and select add managed user

  • select monthly or yearly billing for the account and confirm

  • an email will be sent out to the user to accept the license

  • once the license has been confirmed, the user had a valid paying license

What happens to my Nomadesk data after account cancelation or expiration?

When your account is expired or canceled, your Nomadesk license will be revoked. You can't login to your Nomadesk account or access your data. Your account will be saved for 30 days at the Nomadesk servers. After 30 days your data is permanently removed.

Nomadesk portal shows as a trial version subscription but is a paid license in the Control Panel

If you can confirm that a Nomadesk license has been purchased and provisioned correctly through the 2tCloud Control Panel but shows as a trial version in the Nomadesk portal, the customer needs to accept the order link provided through e-mail before the subscription changes from trial to a paid version.

Is a trial period available for Nomadesk?

We offer a 14-day trial period for Nomadesk. You can order the subscription at the customer control panel. You can only use one trial per customer at once. The trial account will automatically stop after 14 days and can be renewed with a normal subscription.
