How to unassign an IP address in Copaco VMware Cloud

Summary

This article will describe how you can unassign an IP address in Copaco VMware Cloud.

You still have to place downgrade order to remove the IP address. See: How to upgrade/downgrade resources to Copaco VMware Cloud

Prerequisites

  • Removed NAT + Firewall rules related to the IP address you wish to unassign;

  • More than one (1) IP address in Copaco VMware Cloud.

 Getting Started

  1. Navigate to the customer by going to SELECT ORGANIZATION and select the customer.

  2. Click Subscriptions and click Copaco VMware Cloud.

  3. Scroll down and click Edit.

  4. Click Continue.

  5. Click the drop-down menu next to Place an Order.

  6. Choose Remove IP.

  7. Enter the IP addresses you wish to remove and click Save.
    Note: If you have more than 1 IP address, use a comma separated list.

  8. Agree to the Terms & Conditions of Copaco VMware Cloud by checking the checkbox and clicking I Agree.

  9. The order now has been placed. You can check the status of the order by clicking View Order.
