Your Granular admin relationship with (customer) expires soon
Summary
Every x amount of days the GDAP permissions from your customer expire. In case you have received an email from Microsoft saying the relationship is about to expire soon, you need to request a new relationship. This article will describe how this can be done.
In case the relationship hasn’t expired yet, you may try to extend the current admin relationship by enabling Auto Extended.
Prerequisites
An administrator account on the Microsoft Partner Center.
The Admin agent role.
Getting Started
Login to the Microsoft Partner Center: https://partner.microsoft.com/dashboard/v2/home
Click Customers.
Click the name of the customer you wish to extend the GDAP permissions for.
Click Admin relationships.
Click Request for new relationship.
Click Select Microsoft Entra roles.
Select the following roles:
Directory Readers,Directory Writers,License Administrator,Service Support Administrator,User Administrator,Privileged Role Administrator,Privileged Authentication Administrator,Helpdesk Administrator,Cloud Application Administrator,Application Administrator,Global ReaderFill in the other fields and click Finalize request.
Please note to set Auto Extend to YesCopy the URL from the link and click Done.
Paste the link in an incognito window and log in with an administrator account from the customer to accept the relationship.
As soon the admin relationship has been made, the security group needs to be assigned. See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/customers/gdap-assign-microsoft-entra-roles for more information.
